Thessaloniki Airport, formerly known as Mikra Airport, is the 2nd biggest airport in Greece. It is spotted around 15km (9 miles) southeast of Thessaloniki city. Thessaloniki Airport annual workload is more than 4 million passengers and it includes 34 check-in-desks and 24 departure gates. The airport can accommodate 14 planes at a time. Furthermore, it accommodates not only Air Force Squadrons but also flying club of Thessaloniki.
